Our Rhyme of the week is Humpty Dumpty!
Maybe you could create another verse for it?
I wonder how many we could create?

We are celebrating Book Week Scotland. We’ve been sharing and exploring lots of different stories. We read ‘Shhh!’ by Sally Grindley and made a castle just like the giant’s in our block play area. We added details like a drawbridge and towers.
‘I made a tower.’
‘I put lots of stuff all around it for protection.’
‘A giant lives there.’
We also looked a nursery rhymes book and put Humpty Dumpty on his wall. He fell down!
‘I was trying to get him to sit up so we could knock him down.’
We went to Pollok Park for our Summer trip this year. On our journey we visited Fairyland, climbed big hills, explored the wild woods, identified dinosaur bones and found various vegetables growing in the gardens. It was exciting to spot newts, tadpoles and dragonflies at the pond!
We have also been making the most of the good weather exploring and discovering in our playground and in the church garden.
We have been noticing daffodils all around, in gardens, parks and at the side of the road. So we decided our song should be…
Ten Little Daffodils
One little, two little, three little daffodils,
four little, five little, six little daffodils,
seven little, eight little, nine little daffodils…
Ten little daffodils grow in a row.
Grow, grow, grow those daffodils (times 3)
Ten little daffodils grow in a row.
