In class we were learning about why the river Nile was important for the Egyptians.
Ancient Egyptians made their own paper called papyrus which they made from plants that grew at the side of the river Nile.
We got to look at some papyrus paper and feel the texture.
Developing our number skills by using numeracy blueprints 😊.
We used these to help with place value, counting and answering addition and subtraction calculations.

Thank you to Joshua for bringing in his world atlas from home to let us use it in class. We looked for the UK on the map and then located Egypt!
In RE we read the story of creation from the Bible. We then discussed our God given talents and created a display for our classroom :-).
