This week we made the most of the sunny, dry weather by heading out to the playground to practice our spelling words. It’s clear everyone from P4a has been practicing hard as we had 100% accuracy. Well done everyone!

P4a have been very busy creating Maths games for our Maths Carnival tomorrow! The children worked in groups to create fantastic games. They then had a chance to play each other’s games! Some of the themes included ‘multiplication and division jungle’, ‘hammer the question’, ‘science lab division’ and ‘multiplication monopoly’!
To celebrate Maths Week, pupils in Primary 4a put their problem solving skills to the test in a LEGO challenge. In groups of four or five, the children were tasked with designing and building LEGO boats that would float in water.
We had lots of success with the majority of boats constructed floating in the water, even with an additional weight!
Well done P4a.
