Maidenhill Primary School

On Monday 11^th March, the Lord Lyon, King of Arms,

visited East Renfrewshire. 

He met with pupils who have applied to Maidenhill Primary School, to give his advice and guidance on how to create a school badge that will describe the new school and stand the test of time.

It was incredibly informative and so interesting to hear about the history of designing badges and shields.

We are most grateful that the Lord Lyon was able to make time to visit as it has added another dimension to the process of creating the Maidenhill school badge.

Alasdair McDonald, Head Teacher of Maidenhill Primary School, will be holding a drop in session at Kirkhill Primary School on Wednesday 27^th February from 2.30-3.30pm and another at Mearns Primary School on Friday 1^st March from 2.30-3.30pm.

The successful applicant for Out of School Care at Maidenhill was MACS.  The manager is liaising with parents to take things forward. We will let you know when we have more details.

Kirkhill and Mearns Primary School pupils still have a few more days to take part in the Maidenhill Primary School uniform competition.  Here is the entry form, which should be handed in to your school on or before Friday 15th February.

A competition to design the Maidenhill school uniform has been launched within both Kirkhill and Mearns Primary Schools.  Have a look below to see the entry form.  Good luck everyone!
