Daily Sessions

Our nursery is open during the term-time for core and additional hours.

The morning session for core children is from 8:50 – 12:00
The afternoon session for core children is from 12:50 – 4:00

We encourage all parents to ensure that your child arrives on time for the start of the session.

Our nursery class is open from 8am-6pm and children who are undertaking ‘extended’ hours may also be attending from 8-9, 12-1(lunch session), 4-5 or 4-6.

Should you require additional child care for any reason, there is an option to buy ‘ad hock’ provision for your child through the ParentPay portal.

Collection of children

In order to maximise your child’s experience, we feel it is essential that your child stays for the entire duration of their core session. Doors will open at 11.50 am and 3.50 pm to allow entry for one parent/ carer to help gather belongings in the cloakroom. This minimises disruption to the learning of all our nursery children.

Regular attendance will ensure that your child gains maximum benefit from their time in our nursery.  If your child is going to be absent from nursery, we ask you to contact us before 9.00 a.m. on the day of her/his absence by telephone 0141 570 7090.

If we do not hear from you, we will telephone you to find out how your child is doing.

Please remember that children who are unwell should be kept at home to prevent the risk of infection spreading to others and also for the benefit of the child who is ill. Please note any child who has had sickness or diarrhoea should not return until they have been free of symptoms for 48hrs. Information regarding exclusion periods for infectious diseases can be obtained from the office.  If you are unsure the staff will be happy to advise you.
