Today, Primary 6C went on the app Book Creator and made short stories after Mr Tyler explained what to do. They learned how to make e-books and are going to show them to the younger children in  P1 and 2.

Today P6c  went on the Bookzilla app they found lots of interesting books and the app recommends lots of different books and gave  them lots of challenges and gives them an opportunity to find loads of books.

We are also making posters for the Bookzilla app to advertise  it. We are writing letters to people who we would like to read at an upcoming assembly, they will read an extract from their favourite book. P6c used lots of colourful pens and pencils to create their posters.

The primary sevens introduced themselves and decided on their roles.

We brainstormed ideas for promoting reading for enjoyment and Mrs King put them onto an action plan.

The primary sixes where discussing their favourite books and learning about the Bookzilla app from the Scottish Book Trust. The app helps you find new titles that are matched to your interests.
