Homework!

Hi all,

We have had a little reshuffle of our blog – hopefully it will be a bit easier to navigate now!

All homework tasks will now be posted in the ‘Homework’ tab at the top of our blog page. The sounds and common words of each week will also be posted under this tab for you to find.

If you require a paper copy of our homework please let us know! 🙂

Thanks,

Miss Baillie and Miss Mccann

Learning Round Up 1.11.19

We have had a very busy Halloween themed week!

Here are some activities we have enjoyed:

We made pumpkin lanterns when learning our ‘l’ sound.

We have been continuing to practice our counting skills. We can count up to 20! Here we were counting up different Halloween objects.

We love playing our Shape Pattern on Topmarks. We have been practicing completing patterns in class.

We made rhyming potions this week. We challenged ourselves to write our rhyming words out.

We had a visitor this week who spoke to us about the importance of brushing our teeth and keeping them clean. We had a go at brushing our teeth in class.

We had lots of fun at our Nursery Rhyme Party on Thursday. We loved seeing all the costumes!

Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Outdoor PE

Winter Is Coming… So We All Need Outdoor PE Kits!

Every week we have two periods of PE outside.  It’s starting to get a bit chillier now, so we all need to make sure that we are nice and cosy during these sessions.   Could we ask parents and carers to check that their child has PE jackets and trousers in school?  Shorts and polo shirts are fine for indoor PE, but we need to wrap up when we go outside.

Thank you 🙂
