Homework w/b 25th November

Reading books are being sent home today. Please make sure they are returned on Friday.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

Donations

Hi everyone,

In Primary 1 we work really hard to plan fun activities in our Atrium. We are hoping to create a ‘Polar Express’ scene as one of our winter themed activities.

Unfortunately, over time our resources break or go missing, therefore we do not have all the resources needed for this activity.

We would be really grateful if we could have a train set and trains donated ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for your on going support!

Homework *Updated*

Hi all,

Please check our Homework tab to find the updated Homework Task Sheet for this week (18th November)

We have also added a Nativity tab to our blog which has some lyrics for the songs in our nativity Born in a Barn. Please help your child practise these at home! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks.

Learning Round Up 15.11.19 :)

Another busy week in 1a! ๐Ÿ™‚

This week we wrote a story about blowing bubbles. We had so much fun practising with the bubbles in the playground!

This week we started addition! We were challenging ourselves to ‘count how many altogether’. We used dominoes and cubes to help us.

We had lots of fun doing some Outdoor Learning today. We love using the chalk to practise our sounds, common words and numbers.

We have been enjoying practicing our songs for our Nativity this week. Keep practicing these at home.

Enjoy your weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Homework!

Hi all,

We have had a little reshuffle of our blog – hopefully it will beย a bit easier to navigate now!

All homework tasks will now be postedย in the ‘Homework’ tab at the top of our blog page. The sounds and common words of each week will also be posted under this tab for you to find.

If you require a paper copy of our homework please let us know! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks,

Learning Round Up 1.11.19

We have had a very busy Halloween themed week!

Here are some activities we have enjoyed:

We made pumpkin lanterns when learning our ‘l’ sound.

We have been continuing to practice our counting skills. We can count up to 20! Here we were counting up different Halloween objects.

We love playing our Shape Pattern on Topmarks. We have been practicing completing patterns in class.

We made rhyming potions this week. We challenged ourselves to write our rhyming words out.

We had a visitor this week who spoke to us about the importance of brushing our teeth and keeping them clean. We had a go at brushing our teeth in class.

We had lots of fun at our Nursery Rhyme Party on Thursday. We loved seeing all the costumes!

Have a lovely weekend ๐Ÿ™‚
