Learning Round Up 24.01.20 :)

Hello 🙂

We have had a super busy week in p1a!

For a Literacy Counter, we have been reading and recognising our CVC words. We are getting very good at this!

We have also been having a go at building our own sentences (remembering a capital letter and a full stop at the end!) and building our CVC words.

We are continuing to have a go at making doubles. We are very good with our doubles up to 10! We have been loving singing along to our doubles song in class.

A blue counter task this week was some subtraction board games. We have been using cubes to help us figure out the answer to the calculations.

We have been continuing to practise telling the time. We are able to recognise ‘o’clock’ times and have even challenged ourselves this week to begin to recognise when it is half past.

In our Atrium we have been exploring with magnets. We were searching for magnetic objects in our sand tray.

We loved seeing and playing with our common words games today. There were so many wonderful ideas 🙂 Keep playing these at home for extra practise!

Enjoy your weekend 🙂
