In class we have been learning about the Titanic. Â As part of this we went to visit the tall ship. We also did a 2 week project about the Titanic for homework.

Art in P4c
in P4c we have recently made function machines that help us use our tables and we also not so recently made otters inspired by a book (Do unto otters) for the class charter.Today we made poems about November and way before that we made more pictures of otters!Â
Human Body
We are learning to do Heartstart. Some nurses came in to teach us how to help someone when they are bleeding, unconscious or choking. For the choking part we got manikans and practised doing 5 back blows and 5 abdominal thrust. Also we did a recovery position.

the Titanic
We are learning about the Titanic in P4c.
The Titanic sunk because it hit an iceberg   (and it was going too fast.)
There were 3 classes on board. First class was fancy and had a lot of space, second class was a bit fancy and third class was okay but not as good as the rest and had little space.
The Titanic was thought to be unsinkable so it only had a few life boats, and at the front and back it was very bad material, but at the sides it was very strong material.
“The Titanic had 2227 people on board” said Gavin.
“705 people survived.” said Hannan.
Our Human Body and Skeleton
We did the human body and skeleton for our science and we also learnt about organs. The bones protect the organs like the rib cage protect the lungs and the heart, the skull protect the brain etc.

Titanic
We were learning about the Titanic. On our school trip we learnt Morse code. We learnt how to do S.O.S. in Morse code. We learnt how to dig up ancient artifacts from the sea bed like  a marine archaeologist.
