We have been creating zentangle artworks of flowers. We each drew a quarter of a flower so we could match them up to create one big flower.
In the background we added painted shades of a cool colour going from light to dark.

We had lots of fun doing our fitness sessions for P4a and P4b. We all got very hot and tired. It was a very long time so we had to take regular breaks. We hope the other classes enjoyed our fitness sessions.
I hope we get fitter. – Gavin
We have been practising our rhythms with Mrs Lyall. Today, we played a circle game with the drumsticks. We had a lovely time for our last afternoon. Happy holidays everyone!
Today at school we brought Gavin’s bike into the classroom to sketch. We had to use pastels , pencils, fineliners and charcoal. We had to use A4 paper to sketch the bike in different positions. It was hard from some angles but easier from others. It was amazing seeing all the different ideas. Thanks Gavin for letting us borrow your bike!

We were trying to create moves that fit with the beat. We had to make sure that we chose moves most of us could do.
We used moves like burpees, windmills, spinning, punching to the side, star jumps and jumping.
We had to work with our group and make up our own routines to share with the class.
In a few weeks time we are going to teach the other P4 classes our routines.
We have been learning time signatures in music with Mrs Lyall. We have also been listening to a cd track called carnival of the animals. We have been learning new notes in music.

In February the p4s will perform our school show called All at sea. Playing the merfolk are: Rose, Emily, Hazel, Charlie, Holly, AJ and Kira. Pirates are: Blair, Gibson, Nathen, Mathew, Kathren, Amaya, Ben and Jessica. The head of security is Niamh and the proffesors are: Nithya, Adam R, Callum and Max.
 We love our show this year – Rose, Adam S and Adam M.
We have been practising our school show called all at sea. There are a lot of parts and scenes, here are some of the characters: Captain scary pants,the parrot, Pirates ,Merfolk, Merfolk boss, Atlantis and Neptuna. There are also lots of songs-Me- hearty high, Avast ahoy!, I’m a parrot, Out of your league , Pool party and a life at sea. We also added in two songs: This is me and baby shark.

All at sea is a very good show. We hope all the parents like our show, because we have been very hard at work just for you guys.
