Practising our school show – All At Sea

We have been recently practising our school show all at sea. It is about merfolks vs pirates and the pirates and the merfolks hated each other. Merfolks wanted pirates to say that merfolks were better but they never did. Pirates wanted merfolks to say that pirates were better but they never did – it was crazy. They were enemies for a long time.

I think this school is very good because  the merfolks are great swimmers and the pirates need their help .

The Daily Mile

The daily Mile was very challenging. When we did the daily mile i got a stitch.I wonder what the next daily mile will be like. I wish we would do a bigger mile next time.

Skye boat song

The skye boat song is a song about Bonnie Prince Charlie who escaped war on a boat. We liked the song because it was  emotional and phenomonal. The whole class liked it not just me.It was a shorter version of the song but it will do.

The Assembly The Skye boat song

We sang a song called the skye boat song for our mums and dads. We made a paper boat for Burns Day.

All of our classmates made a lovely background for our boats.

We had a little break with our mum and dad.

All of us had to write down a comment about our singing and our mum and dad did it too.

There was people singing and some people playing some music the teacher         ( Mrs Henry) we had to sing it on the day.

the Titanic

We are learning about the Titanic in P4c.

The Titanic sunk because it hit an iceberg   (and it was going too fast.)

There were 3 classes on board. First class was fancy and had a lot of space, second class was a bit fancy and third class was okay but not as good as the rest and had little space.

The Titanic was thought to be unsinkable so it only had a few life boats, and at the front and back it was very bad material, but at the sides it was very strong material.

“The Titanic had 2227 people on board” said Gavin.

“705 people survived.” said Hannan.
