Mr Tyler is currently reading a chapter of Happy Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone every day for you to listen to. These are being posted on Seesaw daily but here are the links for chapters 1 to 4.

Chapter 4Â Â https://bit.ly/HPandPSCh4
Apologies for some of the yawns in Chapter 3, it was recorded late at night!
Â
I hope you enjoy these and Chapter 5 will be ready for Monday.
For learning for the rest of the week please see P5c Blog- this saves all 3 classes posting the same message.
All work will also be on P5b seesaw for me to look at 🙂
Have a good day, enjoy your time with your family and stay in contact with your friends, if you haven’t heard from a friend in a few days – ask if you can give them a call or text 🙂
I hope you are all well. I’m loving all your work on Seesaw keep it coming 🙂 Well done! I have been very impressed by what you have all done so far.
Remember this work is for you to work through when you are not in class. Please work with someone at home to decide how much you are going to do. If someone at home has life skills they want you to complete instead of the work on Seesaw then that is learning too, you could even show me what life skills you are learning.
I would much rather be speaking to you all in class but for just now we just need to try our best with this. I hope all of you enjoy learning in a different way for the next few weeks and hopefully I will see you all soon back in class.
Mrs McArthur or Mr Russell may post work for this class, that is because I am working at St. Clares Primary School. All p5 will be doing the same work.
The home learning work is very clear to see and read on the blog rather than SEESAW. So please see the blog for updates and post your work to me on SEESAW.
Hope this makes sense!
This is today’s daily plan. See my earlier blog post for the other info.
From today, home learning activities will be assigned daily via Seesaw and this class blog.
This will consist of Numeracy, Literacy and one ‘other’ task e.g. HWB, RME, Social Studies, Expressive Arts, Technology or Science activity.
Your weekly spelling rule will be revision from a previous week.
Please feel under no obligation to complete this work. It is there for you to complete as much or as little as you choose and ultimately, your health and wellbeing is the most important thing!
As well as academic learning I appreciate the importance of daily physical activity. Each day, you may like to participate in Joe Wicks or the Super Movers live PE lessons from 9am.  There are also lots of other lessons, so feel free to enjoy some active learning at other times during the day too. These can be found by following the links below–
If you wish to upload any of the homework activities for me to see on Seesaw, then that would be great! The settings have been altered so that only teachers can see your work and responses.
I look forward to welcoming you back to Kirkhill with open arms, but until then, stay safe, stay happy and keep well!
We are now using a new online APP called SEESAW, it is a fun way for teachers to post activities to the class and pupils can respond via their own account. In class today we did a trial run where the pupils signed in to SEESAW and completed their first activity. SEESAW can be downloaded from your APP store on any device.
If possible: try it out on your device tonight! or in the next couple of days.
Sign in – using glow username and password (ALL pupils have their own account already set up and know their password). All pupils have been given their QR code to take home. Use this code to sign in to SEESAW.
When you get access respond to the activity posted 🙂Â
