Today we had a visit from Shazia and Adeel from Colourful Heritage. Euan and Maisie were awarded prizes for their winning entries for the quiz they completed at the Community Days.
Our Residential Trip
Last week we went to our long awaited residential trip to Lochgoilhead.
It surpassed all expectations! Â We had the time of our lives and made the most precious memories together.
We will share our experiences next week at the Lochgoilhead Showcase, looking forward to welcoming parents on Wednesday 15th May at 1.30pm.
We Can Beat The Street!
We can Beat the Street! Today we celebrated our achievements in gaining first place in both categories in Beat the Street. We are so proud of ourselves and our school community for achieving this award. What a feeling it was watching back all the photographs. We were also rewarded with an extra 15 minutes playtime in the afteroon. Kirkhill can Beat the Street!
This has been a busy week! Yesterday we also found out our show parts. We were very excited and felt like we had been waiting for a while. There was a lot of tension between each part being revealed, but there was a lovely round of applause after every part was announced. We are all looking forward to starting our rehearsals once we return from Lochgoilhead next week.
Today Primary 7 also collaborated across the stage, to prepare for Lochgoilhead by researching the Leave No Trace principles. This work will help us achieve our Sir John Muir award.

Have a well deserved rest, looking forward to you all returning refreshed and ready for a busy and fun filled final term in primary school.😇
Beat the Street Finale
We had a wonderful time during the final week of Beat the Street. We went out during our P.E. and Fit for Fifteen slots to tap as many times as we could to cash in on the double points being offered.
We demonstrated our perseverance, stamina and teamwork skills through this initiative.
We had so much fun! Another huge thank you to our fantastic parent helpers. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you! #BeattheStreet @BTS_BNM
Spring Masterclasses
Primary 7 have been busy this week leading their spring masterclasses. Lots of different skills being used such as cross stitching, weaving and arts and crafts.
Beat the Street
Get out on the streets with your family and friends for the last week of this initiative. See if you can collect double points walking, scooting or cycling around the area. We are currently 1st place on the leader board and average board. Remember all Beat Boxes are giving double points this week.
We can do this! 🙂
Beat the Street Selfie Competition this week, remember to take a selfie at our decorated school box and ask an adult to upload on social media to be in with a chance to win a prize.
Good luck!
