First Full Week of P4/5

This week in French we have been learning how to say classroom objects and furniture in French. One of our activities was to create labels of French words for the classroom objects and furniture and stick them next to that object. We also played games to help us learn the new French vocabulary.

In Language we were learning VCOP (vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation). In groups we discussed different openers, punctuation, connectives and good vocab and then wrote different words on paper for our VCOP wall and attached it to our VCOP net.

In Social Studies we voted for our new topic. We chose Africa. We wrote down what we know about Africa already and what we want to know by asking questions. Many of use want to know about the language spoken in Africa, what foods they eat, what kind of animals live there, what they are famous for and their beliefs.
