Pudsey Bear biscuits on sale Friday 17th November. Children wishing to buy should bring 35p in cash with 10 pence from each biscuit sold going to charity. Do not to put the money for the biscuits on child’s account. The money will be collected on Friday morning

Aid for Refugees
Dear Parent/Carer,
You will all be aware of the current plight of refugees, mainly from Syria, and the efforts made to send aid to charitable or aid organisations to support families who now find themselves in great need of help. Councillor Waters is co-ordinating aid to those who are held in refugee camps in Calais and he is organising a convoy which leaves later on this month. Continue reading Aid for Refugees
Day of Many Colours 29th May
Tomorrow (Friday 29th May) we are holding a ‘Day of Many Colours’. You will have previously received a letter about this event. All classes will take part apart from Primary 7 as they are attending a Mass of Thanksgiving at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
Children can wear their own clothes and a top or t-shirt in their ‘House’ colour apart from St Andrew’s house who should wear white.
Children should bring a suggested donation of 50p which will go to the ‘Missions Rosary’ charity.

Fundraiser Disco
Former pupil, Jack Burns, and family would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the fundraiser disco for Malawi last Friday evening. The event was a huge success with £1000 being raised for this very worthwhile cause. Apologies to those who were unable to get a ticket due to high demand!
Malawi Fundraising Disco
Jack Burns- a former pupil who now attends St Ninian’s, is organising a disco to raise funds for Malawi, where he will visit soon to work.
The disco is for primary school aged children and will take place on Friday 13th February between 6 and 8pm in St Joseph’s Church Hall.

Easter House Competition and Non-uniform day
Easter Competition
School House Captains and Vice Captains have organised a design an Easter bonnet competition. Pupils who wish to take part can design and make an Easter bonnet in their house colour and bring it to school on Friday 4th April. There will be prizes for the winning bonnets in each house for pupils in infant, junior and senior departments.
Fundraising for SCIAF
Friday 4th April will also be a non-uniform day– children should bring in a donation and all money will go to SCIAF.
