Chicks in the Nursery

The ‘living eggs’ project has arrived in the nursery. The hatchery is a 10 day experience of looking after the eggs and chicks when they hatch.

Not only do the children experience life cycles and growth and development, the programme encourages social interaction and promotes caring and nurturing skills.

Burns Singing Competition Success

On Monday 10 March, three children from Primary 5 travelled to Paisley to take part in the 2014 Regional Primary Schools Competition run by the Renfrewshire Association of Burns Clubs (RIABC).  They all sang really well and Myles  was presented with a medal after being placed second in the Primary 4 and 5 singing category for his rendition of Ye Jacobites by Name.  Megan was Highly Commended in the same section she and Hannah received certificates for their performances.

Thanks to Mrs Shand for taking the children to the competition.
