Physical Wellbeing

Physical Wellbeing relates to the ability to understand what can make our body most efficient and effective, as well as the ability to recognise and respect our own limitations.

At St Ninian’s High school we aim to encourage and promote good physical wellbeing.  Some examples are:

  • S1 –S4 pupils receive at least 2 hours of physical activity each week both indoors and outdoors
  • There are over 80 extracurricular clubs
  • Twilight Sports Clubs
  • Healthy Eating and Body Image are topics which are explored through PSHE

Body Image

We live in a society that can be preoccupied by Body Image.  The following presentaion was put together with the aim to help pupils and parents understand more about this issue and to help build resistance against these pressures and promote a healthy image. Presentation Body Image
