For all S3 DOFE students:
All S3 DOFE students should attend the training sessions below. This is in preparation of our practice and assessed expeditions on the 6th&7th and 19th&20th Sept.
Part of the 20 conditions for a DOFE expedition is for students to be adequately trained. It is important that all DOFE students attend all five sessions. If a student can not attend a meeting, I would appreciate that the student contacts me to let me know. A register of attendees will be taken.
Finally, as most meetings will be outdoors, I would urge students to bring a change of clothing with them. I would also recommend a jacket, although we won’t go outside if it is raining.
I look forward to seeing all DOFE students on Wednesday, 3rd May at 2.45pm in room 202.
Thanks
Mr Boag

To support our S4, S5 S6 students sitting SQA exams in May 2023, please find our Easter School Timetable below.

Please encourage your child to sign-up for as many sessions as they can.
This year the appeals process has changed. It has reverted to the system that was in place before the pandemic.
Essentially, this means that the appeals process does not involve schools sending away alternative evidence as was the case last year.
The appeals process remains free and will allow all learners to request a clerical check of their exam script by a senior examiner if they feel they have not got the result they deserve or feel they should have received.
The appeals proves will be covered in more detail with the publication of the ‘My Exams’ booklet in the coming weeks. However, should you need more information please click on the following link:

Please note* the Exceptional Circumstance system will operate as normal for learners who cannot sit an exam due to ‘exceptional circumstances’.
Supported study calendar is available here for the term.
Easter school classes will also be running during the holidays when staff are available. Classes are free to attend.
Your child can sign up via https://forms.gle/tAaZNQ1ewZxiY3zx9
Additional live lessons can also be accessed via the NATIONAL E-LEARNING OFFER. The following link, will be live from 1 March https://e-sgoil.com/easter-study-support-2023/

All S3 students completing the Bronze DOFE Award should now have their edofe accounts setup.
Students should go to the edofe website and try logging in with their login details. More information regarding logging in can be found on the DOFE Google Classroom.
Here is a video to help you use the edofe app: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D80IGvCwbhM
Once students are into the edofe website, they should complete all the details regarding their three sections: Skill, Physical and Volunteering.
We have updated our achievements page with our students’ successes over the last few months.
Remember you can also let us about your child’s achievements by completing the form at the foot of the achievements page.
