The children of P7.26 have been working hard to design and build their very own WWII models. These include 3D printer sirens, Lego tanks, tin foil wrapped boats, paper mache helmets and lots, lots more. We enjoyed showcasing these models to various classes within the school, before evaluating these.

Lyle, Evan, Dylan and Lewis have been working hard to create a solar panel cycle lane. They believe that these should be used in all Scottish motorways and will be campaigning for this during our Mearns Masters lessons. I can’t wait to see the finished product boys!
Today marks the start of our level 1 and 2 Bikeability training in P7.26 🚲. Irene and Dagmar from Bikeability Scotland have joined us this morning to ensure our bikes are safe before starting session 1.
The boys have been working super hard during Mearns Masters lessons to create and design their very own solar water pump using Tinkercad. Today was very exciting for our class as we watched the 3D printer create their model. Amazing work! 🌟🌟🌟
The Designers have been hard at work this week using balsa wood, clay, materials from home and the 3D printer to bring their creations to life. These will be continued next week. Well done boys and girls 🌟🌟.
The captains and vice captains have been working hard to look through all of the sustainable fashion show entries as part of our second house challenge. They look forward to showcasing the very best at our fashion show next Wednesday, with guest judge Miss Gillian Watson. Gillian will be joining us from Nike sustainable development team and will be providing the children with feedback on their outfits, before deciding on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place. We can’t wait!
