Digestion Experiment

For the experiment we needed a banana, orange juice, a biscuit, a plastic bag and scissors
We crushed the biscuit, banana and orange juice in a plastic bag. This is what happens in our stomach.
We fed the mixture into some tights. This is what happens in the small intestine.
We wrote up our experiment in our science jotters.
We had fun squeezing the mixture through the tights.
The waste passes out our body as poo (faeces)
We wrote up our experiment

Hunting for Worms

We worked in groups to dig for worms
Worms provide food for lots of animals. Did you know there is 27 types of worm!
We kept the worm in trays with soil so they were comfortable.
Some of us didn’t mind touching the worms.
Team work all the way!
I think we’ve found one!
We enjoyed digging and looking closely at the worms.
We love worms. They are so important to life on earth.
