The children enjoyed ice cream cones, freestyle football, airbrush tattoos and balloon modelling.

This morning, we welcomed the whole school to our ‘Mearns Got Talent 2022’ event. A huge congratulations to all of our participants and a special thank you to our amazing judges and special guest performer, Mr McKenna.

This was our final House Challenge and the final results showed that Cedar won! Well done . They have all enjoyed some extra time on our values day inflatables as a reward.

This afternoon, Primary 7 pupils organised a wonderful afternoon tea for our PSAs, Mrs Sutherland, Mrs Robertson and Mrs Kopal. Thank you so much for all of your help and support over the years and we hope you enjoyed your lovely surprise!

Today, we welcomed our parents and families back to our school and into our Mearns Kitchen. On one side of the kitchen ‘The Magical Mexicans’ cooked up a storm and on the other, our ‘Six by Hogwarts’ team made some weird and wonderful dishes. The parents were super impressed and left us with some fantastic feedback. Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our event .

Primary 7 participated in a wonderful presentation all about Scottish Parliament today. They looked at laws made by the Scottish Government, the stages of a bill, MSPs and elections.

This morning we had our second lesson from Eastwood High School. The children enjoyed working in threes to test out different fruit/vegetables and recording the meter reading (v).
