After our Olympic themed Opening Ceremony for our Sports Day, we had a special visit from Sarah Ardlington, 2 time Commonwealth Gold Medalist 🥇  we interviewed her for our next edition of the newspaper 📰

We then had a judo taster session with P6.24 in the gym hall 🥋

 

We had a busy afternoon today working at the P6 K’Nex Challenge! Today we had to create a structure that included a ‘pulley’ system 🏗️

We had a great afternoon at the Sky Academy where we worked in groups to create our very own factual report. We each took on different roles and worked together to create a script, film the report and finally we got to watch it all come together at the end 🎥

 

We worked in groups for the P6 challenge to create K’Nex bridges that could hold books 📚

 

We had a great day at New Lanark for our Primary 6 trip. All groups got the chance to experience a Victorian classroom, the Annie MacLeod experience and ride, a guided of the grounds and an interactive tenement museum!

      

Today we had a great introduction to Gaelic session ahead of Scots language week 👌🏼 we learnt songs, the alphabet and some common phrases 🙌🏼

We had a lovely morning today at the Baptist Church adventure trail. We took part in Christmas quizzes, arts and crafts and watched some drama performances 🌟

This afternoon we decorated our class Christmas tree and started to open our advent calendar 🎄

We had a great morning at the into film festival watching ruby gilmore teenage kraken! 🎥🍿

We also got a chance to see the house challenge entries – lots of amazing pumpkins! 🎃
