We also got a chance to see the house challenge entries – lots of amazing pumpkins! 🎃
Maths Problem Solving 💭
This morning we worked in small groups to complete maths problem solving challenges. We were presented with groups of numbers, fractions, clocks or dominoes and had to identify ‘which one doesn’t belong’ and why. We then annotated the paper with our observations that the other groups could then agree with or add to. We showed great communication and teamwork throughout this task 👌🏼
Gastronomers – Showcase 2 🇮🇹🍽️
Today we held a special showcase for the Director of Education for East Renfrewshire Mr Ratter, Miss Hunter and all of the Primary 7 prefects.
A huge well done P6.20! This was an amazing finale to our Mearns Masters block.

Newspaper Planning 🗞️💭
Today we began preparations for our first set of interviews and started to design a new logo for the newspaper.
We worked in pairs and small group to create questions that we can ask the teachers and classes who will be featured in our first edition.
