Our S2 Music course is designed to develop pupil’s initial skills and take them on a journey where they are beginning to perform confidently in a group with peers on various instruments. They will also have opportunity to choose which instruments to focus their attention on after Christmas. The course includes:
- Performing on Keyboard, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drum Kit
- Learning together in groups, rotating round various ‘stations’ to cover work on each instrument in performing.
- Playing together in their groups/bands or as a whole class to develop confidence in group performance.
- Exploring and creating their own music.
- Understanding music/theory.
- Listening to and analysing music.
- Using technology (PC) to create and listen to music.
- Using the Glow site to complete PLP documents.
Pupils come to music 2 periods per week in S2.
