The Moonbeams class loved exploring pumpkins this week. We were all brave enough to help prepare the pumpkin for carving in some way – whether it was scooping using spoons or our hands.
We used pens to draw templates on the pumpkin and then helped wiggle the shapes out when they had been cut.
We loved this experience!

The Moonbeams class loved our first horse riding outing yesterday where we got to meet Betsy and Hamish. We got to groom them and all had a chance to ride one of the horses. We were learning what to say to the horses to encourage them to go faster and what to say when we wanted them to stop.

In the Stone Age caves, people found evidence of handprints that the cavemen had left. We wanted to create our own hand stencils and did this through working with a partner using paint.
