Jungle Book Theme – Indian Food Tasting

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *

The Planets class enjoyed exploring some Indian food today. We had poppadoms, naan bread, samosas, pilau rice, onion bhajis and chicken pakora.

Pupils enjoyed exploring the foods using their senses, some pupils chose just to touch and smell the foods. However, most were brave enough to give the food a taste or a little kiss.

Bubble Snakes!

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

During our “Jungle Book” theme work, the Planets class enjoyed participating in a science experiment. We attempted to make bubble snakes.

We all had our own water bottle and cut off the bottom. We wrapped the bottle in a sock, dipped the bottom in a solution of fairy liquid and water and then blew into our bottle.

We managed to create very long bubble snakes and had lots of fun!
