P4/5- Children’s Mental Health Week Day 3

Happy Wednesday everyone! For day 3 of children’s mental health week we are going to be embracing the ‘express yourself’ theme. There are SO many ways to express your feelings and emotions and one of those ways is by dancing!
Have a listen to the song below and dance along any way that comes to mind when you hear the song playing! Make sure and get someone to video you for your blog or email it to your teacher!๐Ÿ•บ
If you don’t feel comfortable dancing have a listen to the song and make a colourful poster telling us how the song made you feel. On your poster have “I feel..” then whatever emotion you feel when you hear this song!๐Ÿ˜Š

P4/5- Children’s Mental Health Week Day 1

Hi P4/5,โ€‹ today is the first day of Children’s Mental Health Week. Todays focus is ‘All about you!’. Sometimes it is hard for us to talk about ourselves and what we are good at, so we are going to give it a go today!
I would like you to make a poster all about you by drawing a picture of yourself. Around the picture write the following things:
  • What you are good at
  • Your favourite things about yourself
  • What makes you unique and special
All of you are unique and very special in your own way. If you are struggling with some things to write down ask someone at home as I am sure they will have lots of super things to say about you! Make sure your poster is bright and colourful too!
Post a picture of your poster on your own blog๐Ÿ˜Š.

P4/5- Feedback Friday

Happy Friday Primary 4/5! Well done for all of your hard work this week. I am looking forward to Tuesday when you will be sharing your Scottish island PowerPoints or posters with everyone! Really proud of the work that you have put in to these, not going to post them on here so that it is a nice surprise for everyone else on Tuesday.

Scots Poems

We had an excellent Scots poem sent in from someone in our class. Can you guess who wrote it?

My Wee Dug

I huv a dug called Phoebe,

She means the world tae me,

She has flappy lugs and a swishy tail,

And would share ma tea except for Kale,

She sleeps in ma bed and makes me giggle,

And I take her for walks so she can piddle.

RRSA

Check out this super video made to talk about the rights of the week this week! The articles we focussed on this week were:

Article 24 โ€“ Health care ensures that every child has the right to the best possible health.

Article 28 – Every child has the right to an education.

You are doing a brilliant job as the RRSA committee, keep up the good work! When we are looking at the article of the week making a video as shown below or a poster would be brilliant so that we could share it with the rest of the school and spread the word.

Have a great weekend!

Have a fantastic weekend everyone. Well done for all of your hard work this week. Speak to you all on Monday!
