Home Alone – oh no we werenβt!
Our P6 and P7 pupils performed an amazing production of Home Alone. Everyone worked so hard and performed the show to the whole school and also three times to our families Β and our community. All performances were excellent – fantastic effort from all pupils and staff. ππβοΈ

Primary 3 pupils went to Sing for Hansel at Morrisons Β Supermarket. They sang beautifully and entertained the shoppers and made them feel very Christmassy.π

Christmas Carol Concert π€π§πΌβππ πΌ
Our fabulous Primary 3s made us all feel very Christmassy as they entertained Parents/Carers and friends. They sang a selection of Christmas songs and even had audience participation while singing The 12 Days of Christmas. It was wonderful to welcome so many friends back Β into school. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event – a fabulous experience. βItβs beginning to look a lot like Christmasβ.ππ
Some of our P3 Choir will be singing in Morrisons, Kilmarnock on Wednesday at 1.00pm. They are singing for Hansel. Please come along and support them.

We are very excited to share information on our P7 production of βHome Aloneβ, our first in-school, Christmas performance in 3 years!
P7 have been working incredibly hard alongside our P6 choir to bring festive joy to our whole school community this Christmastime.
Performances:
Tuesday 13th Dec 9.30am β 11.15am (Shaw S as Kevin)
Wednesday 14th Dec 7pm β 8.45pm (Ollie S as Kevin)
Thursday 15th Dec 7pm β 8.45pm (Shaw S as Kevin)
*Please note Ollie S will perform his second show as Kevin for the school at a separate showing for pupils*
Tickets:
Tickets are available NOW via ParentPay at Β£4 per person including festive refreshments at the interval. Children under 5 years old are not required to buy a ticket.
After you have completed the ParentPay sign up, your child will be issued your tickets to bring home.
Seating:
Seating is unreserved. We kindly encourage you to arrive between 6.30pm β 6.45pm (evening show) and 9.05am β 9.15am (daytime show) to take your seats. There will be no admission to the hall before 9.05am/6.30pm.

Community Visit πΌ
Primary 2G and Miss Gall made Christmas Cards for all the residents in Crossgates Β Care Home. They were personally delivered and P2 sang to the residents who listened from their windows. Lots of clapping and cheering could be heard outside. Thank you everyone ππ πΌπ§πΌβπ.

We were delighted to welcome so many families to our St Andrewβs Day Tea Dance. It was a day of fun and celebration and was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves dancing. Todayβs music was provided by 2 pupils and a teacher from Kilmarnock Academy- they played all day and did a fantastic job. Well done to our P7 pupils and Mrs Carten for leading the dances. We were delighted to welcome Pudsey to Onthank Primary to help us celebrate Children In Need. We had a fun time with all our Pudsey activities.
Anti-Bullying Week #ListenUpRespectOurRights
What a week so far at #OurOnthank as we #ListenUp and spread awareness for respectme Scotland Anti-Bullying week campaign ‘Respect our Rights’.
We’ve seen odd socks, many a crazy hairstyle, and united in red to support Show Racism the Red Card.
Our young people have designed ‘One Kind Word’ compliment hands for each other, created Community Kindness messages for local friends, and will be led by our Pupil Council and RRS Ambassador tomorrow in their own assembly.
