Fabulous Four from P5 Onthank

Abigail, Rowan, Lacey and Elise have been really busy over the last month, fundraising for Hillhouse Charity in Kilmarnock. They made a video to highlight their Christmas appeal for new pyjamas and toiletries for local families in need.
They attend the 15th Kilmarnock Brownies and they wanted to do their Charity badge. They chose Hillhouse to help, as they are a local charity.
They collected 56 pairs of pyjamas and numerous toiletry sets. They were delighted to deliver them all tonight. Hillhouse also delighted with their efforts! 🙂
Well done -we are all so proud of you.

Paddington and Pals🐻

Our Rights Respecting Schools ambassadors worked hard to create our ‘pawsome’ new playground charter. Primary 3T then designed the graphic which was then transferred onto our lovely new signs, huge thank you to John Imrie Signs.

To launch our new charter and house points, each class in the school participated in a Paddington Hunt where they searched for marmalade jars and clues leading them to the big reveal! Primary 1s and 2s even got to stamp Paddington’s passport.

Check it out in the video below and keep your eyes peeled for Onthank’s very own mini-Paddington bear!

Thank you J&W carpets, Kilmarnock!

We would like to say a massive thank you to J&W carpets!

Last session, our talented P7M wrote very persuasive letters to ask for rugs to make our classroom floors more comfortable to sit on.  We were delighted when J&W responded to our plea and donated over 40 rugs to enhance our classroom environments.  P6N were on hand to help take delivery of our new rugs today.
