P3 Girls’ Football Club

Onthank Primary School, in conjunction with your Active Schools Coordinator and Kilmarnock FC, are pleased to invite your child/children to take part in an afterschool Girls’ Football Club at the school. This club for P3 pupils will take place after school on a Wednesday. It’ll be outside so please send children prepared for the weather.

Should you wish your child/children to attend please complete the permission slip attached. If you require a paper copy please contact the school and return as soon as possible. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

P7 Transition

Active Schools in partnership with Kilmarnock Academy PE Department would like to support the transition from Primary to Secondary school by offering the primary pupils within the Kilmarnock Education group the opportunity to be involved in a sporting opportunity at the academy.

Kilmarnock Academy would like to offer all P7 pupils the opportunity to participate in our after school Basketball and Netball programme. The aim is to promote a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary school.

 

The details are as follows;

 

Dates:                   Wednesday 5th, 12th and 19th June

Time:                    3.40pm – 4.45pm

Class:                    P7

Venue:                 Kilmarnock Academy – PE Department

The P6/7 football team play Hillhead P.S. on Wednesday (3.30pm) at Hillhead. Please complete the consent form if your child has been selected for the team and confirm if you are able to help with transport.

P4/5 Basketball Festival

Please complete the form below to allow your child to play in the upcoming Basketball Festival on Friday 26  April. Pupils should wear a tracksuit, bring a packed lunch and water.  Faye Meikle (Active Schools Coordinator) will accompany the pupils to the event at Kilmarnock College. The bus will leave at 10.30am and return to school around 1.45pm .

I give permission for my child to attend the SSAA Primary Schools’ Cross Country Championships at Kirkcaldy High School on Saturday 27th April 2019.

I give permission for the school to provide Eddie Tonner (parent coach) with my contact details to organise the event.

P6 Netball Festival

The Netball Festival organised by Active Schools will take place on Monday (25th February) at Kilmarnock Academy. The bus will leave at 10.30am and will return for lunch. Pupils should bring a healthy snack and drink.
