This club for P3 pupils will take place after school on a Wednesday. It’ll be outside so please send children prepared for the weather.

Active Schools in partnership with Kilmarnock Academy PE Department would like to support the transition from Primary to Secondary school by offering the primary pupils within the Kilmarnock Education group the opportunity to be involved in a sporting opportunity at the academy.

Kilmarnock Academy would like to offer all P7 pupils the opportunity to participate in our after school Basketball and Netball programme. The aim is to promote a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary school.

The details are as follows;

The P6/7 football team play Hillhead P.S. on Wednesday (3.30pm) at Hillhead. Please complete the consent form if your child has been selected for the team and confirm if you are able to help with transport.

The Netball Festival organised by Active Schools will take place on Monday (25th February) at Kilmarnock Academy. The bus will leave at 10.30am and will return for lunch. Pupils should bring a healthy snack and drink.

Kilmarnock Football Club visited our school today. They brought along the famous Scottish Cup which is the oldest trophy in world football. The players held a Q&A session with our pupils and posed for pictures with the whole school, P6/7 football team and Sport Committee.

Well done to all the skippers this morning. Congratulations to Theo Mathieson on winning Skipping Champion 3 weeks in a row. He is looking for new contenders to challenge him. P4-7, staff, parents and carers are always welcome to kickstart their Friday the active way.

Congratulations to Isla Tonner on 3rd place today at Ayrshire Athletics Arena. Jack Edgar and Lucas Bryden placed 4th and 5th respectively in their category. Well done to the whole team for giving their all and also thanks to the parents for coming along to cheer us on.
