Today all of the children in the Water House have had a fantastic time watching a Christmas movie as well as decorating some special treats with Stephanie.

Thank you to Mrs Jeffers, Mrs Mackenzie and Mrs Henderson for helping with this.  Thank you also to Stephanie and the rest of the kitchen staff too.

Thank you to FOMC who have kindly organised a special Friday treat for the whole school tomorrow.  The ice cream van is making a return visit!

We will wrap up warm and enjoy a lovely treat.  If you do not wish your child to have an ice cream please contact the school directly.

We are delighted to announce that we will soon be able to share our filming of the Primary 1-3 Nativity as well as Primary 4-7 singing Christmas songs.  This will be shared via a password protected SWAY link.  The password will be texted to the main contact for each child.

If you do not wish your child to be featured in this filming please contact the school as soon as possible.

If children wish to they can send Christmas cards to their classmates, unfortunately the school is unable to provide class lists to parents.

On Wednesday children in Primary 1-3 had a fantastic afternoon sharing their favourite books and completing some lovely activities.  Everyone also enjoyed a glass of milk and cookie.  Thank you to Primary 7 who were brilliant helpers.

We look forward to sharing our pictures of this great afternoon.

A reminder that children should be in their line for school starting at 9am.

Increasingly we are seeing more children arriving to school after 9am and coming in via the main entrance.  This means that children are missing the initial items that are taking place first thing in the morning.  Going forward it is important that children arrive to school on time unless prior arrangements have been put in place.

If you have been sent a letter from the NHS regarding sending your child for a PCR test we kindly request that you send a copy of a negative result before your child returns to school. This can be emailed to:

Thank you to our excellent Primary 7 editors and camera operators as well as Mr Bertoncini.

We are pleased to announce that on Friday  19th November children in Primary 1 will receive their Bookbug Family Bag and children in Primary 2 and Primary 3 will receive their Read Write Count bags.

The children will bring these home to share with you.  We would be grateful if you were able to take some photographs and send these to the class teacher.  If you are happy we would then like to share these photographs on our blog too.

As you will remember from our November Newsletter we will have a special afternoon of activities on Wednesday 24th November.  Children in P1-3 can come to school dressed in their pyjamas, bring a cuddly toy and bring their favourite book from the gifted bags.  The teachers have planned a lovely afternoon for the boys and girls.  The Primary 7 children will be there to help the children enjoy the activities as well as milk and cookies.
