This week the Primary 6 Writing learning intention was to write in Scots. Primary 6 had two writing tasks to complete. The first was to describe themselves in Scots and the second was to write about their favourite food in Scots.
I have created a PDF book to showcase their amazing Scots Writing. Click on the link below.

Primary 6 Scots writing – January
During this period of Remote Learning the children are being introduced to new concepts. When working on this class teachers will generally revise a piece of related learning and then introduce the new learning. If your child finds this new learning challenging please try to reassure them that they will develop in their understanding. Class teachers will make it clear to children when new learning is taking place.
Thank you for your continuing support.
Class teachers have been completing check-in phonecalls with children. If your child is currently receiving in school provision then they will not receive a class teacher phonecall as they are having check-ins in school.
Thank you.

In order to hear teacher audio clips , it is best to download the PowerPoint rather than open it in Teams, that way you should be able to hear the teacher when you click on the audio button.
Morning,
There seems to be an issue with Teams as I can’t upload your literacy work today. So, I will upload it here. Click the link below to access today’s literacy tasks.
If there is still problems accessing it from here, can you let me know. Thanks,
Mr B
There will be a mobile testing unit set up in North West Kilmarnock this weekend . Please follow the link for the full details:
Please only email your child/children’s class teacher with a schoolwork related query.
Any other issues can be discussed with either Mrs. McGahon/Mrs. Fergusson on the email address below:
A reminder that there will be one member of teaching staff in each Bubble in the school per day . On the day they are in the Hub, teachers will not be able to access emails/answer queries on Teams etc as easily/quickly as they would when working from home.
If you have an urgent concern/query, please contact either Mrs McGahon/Mrs Fergusson on the email address below:
We have had a few issues with some pupils struggling to access Teams. Please follow the link below to view a short video on how to access Teams through your child’s Glow log in :
Hello Boys and Girls,

Good morning Primary 4.
The work you require for today has been set on our primary 4 Teams page. If you check your glow email account, you will see that I sent everyone a video last week, showing you how to access Teams and where to find the assigned daily tasks. If you haven’t watched this video yet, can I ask that you do so now as this will assist you in accessing the tasks to complete.
To access the tasks, go to files in Teams, then class materials folder. In the class materials folder, the work is broken down by curricullar area folders, then sorted into group tasks. If anyone is still not sure which group work to access, please let me know and I can remind you.
Best of luck today,
Mrs Travers
Between Monday 18th January and Friday 29th January class teachers will complete one check-in phonecall with each child.
Children attending school during this time should come to the front entrance just for 9am. They should not be dropped at school before this as there is no supervision available in the morning.
