Weekly tasks – 4th May

Friday is a bank holiday so this is only a four day home-learning week. As always do what you can, when you can. If I can be of any help in any way, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I am also looking for you to post permission on Teams to share some of your child’s work on the school blog at the end of the week. I will try to make this fair by choosing different people each week but going forward, I am asking for your permission to do so. If you have already given me permission on Teams you do not need to do this again, but if not, I would be grateful if you could do this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Instructions for uploading work

Instructions for how to upload to Glow blogs if you are finding it tricky. Hope this helps and is clear. (It has been tried and tested so hopefully this is useful to you all).
1.  Log into Glow
2. Click on blogs
3. click on my sites
4. click on your child’s blog
 Adding New Post
  1. Along the top of the screen, there is +New – click on this and a drop down menu will appear. Click on post.
  2. This will allow you to type words and also there is a button that says add media. Click on this and select the files you wish to add/upload.
  3. Make sure all the files you want to upload have a tick beside them (press control and left click at the same time if they don’t have a tick beside them). Once all files you want to upload have a tick beside them, click insert into post and then publish. 🙂

Weekly tasks for week beginning 27th April.

I have sent out our weekly planner with your activities for the week. There are lots of attachments this week…sorry. You do not need to print them off, they are just useful for ideas or there is a powerpoint for information. Priority activities are in bold and this week’s superstar will be awarded to the person who is most creative with their pirate hat. I will change it up a bit next week and award a superstar for something else. It is very difficult for me to choose a superstar as you are all sending in amazing work and I am so proud of you all. Keep working hard, enjoy the sunshine and getting to play outside.

Weekly tasks – Monday 20th April

Welcome back to P1C. I hope you have had a lovely Easter holiday and enjoyed the sunshine. 🙂 I have set a weekly planner of activities for you to do. One of your tasks this week is to create a spring picture either indoors or outdoors. I will choose a superstar based on this task. I am looking for a detailed and creative picture that shows the signs of spring.

****Important****

Well done to everyone who has been working hard posting their work on their blog page. Please, please don’t forget to let me know on our class teams when you have uploaded your work on your blog, otherwise I won’t know to go and have a look.
Thank you
Miss McConnell

I have attached a grid with activities for literacy, numeracy, health and well-being and topic for the full week. Please feel free to do just one activity from each section or you can do more if you wish. I have attached templates for some of the suggested activities on the grid. Thank you again for your continued support during this difficult time.
