Book Week Scotland
This week we have loved doing all things reading! We have enjoyed DEAR time each day, started our new class novel the Christmas Pig 🐷 🎄 and enjoyed a visit to the school library to change our book and browse the book fayre! 📕

We kicked Maths Week Scotland off by being Crisp Investigators! We counted how many crisps we had, measured the longest and shortest and compared ingredients and amounts within the class.

Woodroad Park Trip

Please see a message on the app about an up and coming outing. As part of our Tree Topic we are going to visit the Woodroad Park. Where we will go on the Woodland walk to identify ‘Native Trees’
This outing will be from playtime until home time on Tuesday 16th September. All pupils will require to wear normal school uniform but bring along appropriate footwear for a ‘forest walk’.
If your child normally receives a free school meal they will be able to order this prior to the trip.
We look forward to a fun trip out in local nature!
