The Learning Outdoors Support Team has identified a number of books with a strong environmental message and which lend themselves to exploring the outdoors. We have created Interdisciplinary Learning (IDL) resources to support learning around the themes raised by the books.
The books are widely available. Where possible we provide links to information about the authors and films related to the books.
You do not need to read the books to complete many of the activities.
Have fun and explore!
