This professional development will support you to develop your ethos and understanding of the policy and pedagogy of the outdoors as a learning environment. As well as giving you the confidence
and skills to plan, deliver and evaluate your own outdoor learning, you will be supported to audit your establishments outdoor learning provision and grounds and to support and mentor
colleagues.  The course will also challenge you to share learning with colleagues and take on a leadership role.

EAC Early Level Professional Learning Network

This network will meet bimonthly during the 2021-22 session and is open to all professionals working in EAC with Early Level learners. The PLN meetings are a chance to catch up with some of the great work going on in East Ayrshire, find out about resources and training opportunities and to share and support good practice. When circumstances allow, we will return to Real Life meetings but our  first of the new session will be online (MS Teams). Come and join us – it works as a network because of the contributions of its members!
Meetings are on a Monday and run from 3.30 pm to 4.45 pm
See below for dates of future meetings.  We have summarised the themes for the first three but would love to hear suggestions from the network for future work and contributions.
29th November, 2021 Weather: Challenges and Opportunities
Find out about some of the fantastic opportunities for learning and fun that being outdoors in all weathers can provide.
31st January, 2021  Maths and Numeracy Outdoors
The outdoors is a great place to experience the maths and numeracy that is all around us in our every day lives.
Further PLN meetings will be held on 28th March, 2022 and 23rd May, 2022
