Wow, Mrs Conetta was blown away today with the creativity of P2/3. They were set the challenge of creating a symmetrical snowflake using cotton buds. Everybody created their own unique snowflake. Well done!

P2/3 Symmetrical Drawings
We linked our IDL and Numeracy and Maths today, when we were challenged to complete the symmetrical drawing of either the lighthouse or Mr Grinling’s picnic basket.

With Mrs Conetta last Wednesday, P2/3 explored symmetry through a range of activities including painting a symmetrical scarf, making snowflakes and creating symmetrical patterns with numicon.
