Homework will be posted on this page each Monday to be completed by a Friday. Please note that no homework should be handed in to school. Homework is to reinforce learning which has already taken place in school. Your child has been told their groups in class but if you are unsure please get in touch via the school office.

Reading homework

Reading Homework

Reading homework can be accessed via BugClub.

Homework books are detailed below. Homework books will not have the ‘read to me option’ as children are encouraged to practise reading aloud. Homework books will be changed weekly.

Blue – Silly Jack and the Dancing Mice
Green – Penguins of Madagascar: Penguins to the Rescue
Yellow – A Volcano Wakes Up (page 18-26)
Silver – When the lights went out (part 1)

Please note, all other books are for enjoyment purposes should your child wish to read some more. This means at any one time each child will have 5 books allocated to them in total (inclusive of their weekly homework book). These books will be rotated every 3/4 weeks and may be books they have read before in school. These books will have the read to me option enabled.
