This week’s achievements have been updated – click the link below to view them. The standards of work have been excellent since returning from our Christmas break and all of the children have been working very hard.
Please also remind your child to share any wider achievements with me so that we can celebrate these during our weekly assembly with the rest of the school. If your child forgets you can feel free to send an e-mail and I will remind them and make sure this is celebrated. Miss Thomson x
On Tuesday all of the pupils in school were offered a Scottish treat of diet Irn Bru and shortbread to celebrate Burns day. We listened to some Scottish stories on the Promethean board too and spoke about some Scottish words.
This week primary 2/3 have completed a review lesson in PAThS which has focused on all of the feelings they have learned so far this year. Next week the pupils will be moving onto the next unit in PAThS which focuses on coping strategies to manage different feelings.
See this week’s PAThS pupil below and the compliments he received from his peers.Â
The focus this term as part of our learning in Health and Wellbeing is to explore different occupations. Primary 2/3 were looking at different careers in the field of science. They have identified some excellent careers on their worksheets. See a selection below.
Please watch Primary 2/3 sharing a description of the Gruffalo in Scots language. They have had lots of fun learning different Scots words and I am sure you will agree that they have done a fantastic job in this recording!
