Primary 2/3 have worked very hard this week focusing on place value. Primary 2 were making place value pizzas and place value monsters using base 10 materials to calculate the value of their pizza toppings or monster body parts. Primary 3 were using dice to create a 4 digit number and then calculating 10, 100 and 1000 more or less than their number.
This week’s achievements have been updated. Click on the ‘Achievements’ page or the link below to view these. Primary 2/3 have been super stars as always!
P2/3 have been learning about what makes us happy and healthy. Today we have been discussing the different types of exercise we do and healthy food we eat.
Every week Primary 2/3 will be participating in two PAThS lessons. At the start of each of these lessons a pupil is selected to be our PAThS pupil of the day. This pupil will receive compliments from their peers and will also be encouraged to compliment themselves to increase self-esteem and confidence. Pupils are also encouraged to do this at home.
Today’s pupil of the day was Jamie and we have shared his compliments below.
