The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

We are celebrating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee!

Over the next 6 weeks we will be learning about the Queen’s life, changes in technology, toys and clothes through the decades.

I hope you enjoy looking through our planning to see what experiences and opportunities your children will have throughout this time.

Kindest Regards

Mrs Marshall

Outdoor Play

We have enjoyed lots of outdoor play today however, it is very cold.  The children enjoy their outdoor learning experiences and we want to ensure they are warm while outside.

As you know, we provide the children with full waterproofs to try and keep the children clean and dry when outside however, these are thin and do not keep the children warm and cozy.  We do also provide gloves to ensure their hands are warm.

Can you please provide your children with a warm, cozy jumper/cardigan/hoody and hat that they can keep on their peg for the winter?  This will ensure your children are warm and cosy while taking part in some of their favourite learning experiences.

Due to COVID mitigation’s we are required to have windows open at all times to allow a flow of fresh air to go through the ECC, therefore can you please ensure your child is warmly dressed during this cold spell.

Kind Regards

The ECC staff team
