We were once again incredibly proud of our P7s today on our end of year day out. It was filled with fun, laughter and McFlurries!
Today was made possible thanks to their hard work during our Virgin Money Enterprise project in term 3.
Bus trips, mini golf, bowling, fun swim, play park and McDonalds – it was a jam packed day finished off with ice cream and brownies.
Catrine Primary School Health Week – 9th to 13th June.
All pupils can come to school dressed down in sports/ relaxed clothing so they can take part in all of the great activities planned for the whole week.
Sports Day – Friday 6th June 10.30am @ Riverside Park
We’re planning to still go ahead with our Sports Day on Friday, hoping that the weather will be good to us!
Please make sure your child comes to school on Friday with a jacket and a change of clothes/shoes that they can get changed into when we get back to school after Sports Day, in case they do get mucky and wet at the park.
Fingers crossed for a dry day as we’ll be really struggling to find another suitable day for Sports day if it doesn’t happen on Friday as June is such a busy month!
Mrs Campbell and Blaine popped into the school and made a special visit to Primary 2. Mrs Campbell would like to thank our P2 pupils and families for their kind gifts, flowers and warm wishes for Blaine, who is now 10 weeks old and thriving.
Blaine thoroughly enjoyed visiting the class today (although he slept through most of it!) and Mrs Campbell promised that they’ll be back to visit the school soon.
Our P5-7 pupils took part in a consultation with town planners from East Ayrshire Council today. Town planners decide where development can and can’t happen and they consult with towns and villages about this.
Today pupils got to share everything they love about their village and the things that need some improvement. This will help inform the new local development plan that is being written.
They listened well and contributed with enthusiasm, well done everyone.
