Polite Reminder

A polite reminder regarding the parking on James Taylor Avenue on Wednesday 25th June.

The buses for our trip should arrive around 8.55am – please keep the road clear to allow space for the buses.

We should also return back to school from 2.45pm so please keep the road clear at school pick-up time too.

Thank you

School Trip Arrangements

Wednesday 25th June – Heads of Ayr Farm Park

Pupils please arrive at school for 8.50am, the bus will be leaving promptly at 9.10am.

We will be back for 3.00pm and all pupils will come back into school before being released via the usual doors.

What to wear? School jumper/polo shirt on top, with jogger/leggings and please wear socks (as stipulated by Heads of Ayr, for going down the slides).

Dress appropriately for the weather.

Pupils should bring with them the following – a snack, packed lunch (unless you have ordered one with the school) & drink (in a disposable bag and plastic bottle, no fizzy drinks) with their name on the bag. The pupil will be responsible for holding their own bag.

NO MONEY is required, as we will not be near the gift shop or paying activities.

All we need now is for the sunshine and dry weather to stay until Wednesday.

Home Circles @ June

In our Home Circles today we focused on Article 24 of the UNCRC which states that ‘every child has the right to the best possbile health’.

Our BIG questions today were …

What health services are available to you, both in school and as a family? Who helps us when we are feeling ill or in pain?

What can we do, as a school community and with our families, to keep ourselves healthy and fit?

Check out our awesome answers below 🙂

Power Down: Den Building and Family Picnic

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that came along to our Den Building day yesterday! We were blown away with all your support! The playground was buzzing with such lovely community spirit as you all worked together to build some impressive dens. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed it.  We hope you did too!

P4 Enterprise

Primary 4 have been busy making and selling popcorn cones as part of their ‘Poppin Popcorn’ enterprise project this week. The pupils have all worked so hard and have made an amazing profit of £54.15 which will go towards an end of term class party.

Thank you so much for all of your support.

Are your details correct?

As we head towards the end of term just a reminder that if parents/carers are applying for clothing grants for the start of the new term the application system will cross-reference their name and address details against the school contact details.

If your details do not match then the application will be declined.

If you have changed any of your details i.e telephone number/address and have not informed the school, please do so before the end of term.

Sports Day

Thanks to everyone who came along to Riverside Park to support our sporty superstars this morning.

We are so proud of all of our pupils for their great participation and sportsmanship.

Special thanks to Robert Mackenzie and Catrine Amateurs FC for the park organisation and to Manny’s for the donation of the bottles of water for every pupil.

Thanks again for your support – it makes our Sports Day a very special event.
