Monday 17th March – Appointments open for booking for Parents Night
Thursday 27th March – Easter Disco 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Tuesday 1st April – Parents Night 3.10pm – 8.00pm
Wednesday 2nd April – Easter Service 9.00am
Friday 4th April – Dress Down Day
Friday 4th April – End of term 3 – closes at 2.30pm
From Monday 10th March we are introducing a new Cashless Catering system at Catrine Primary School.
Meals will continue to be ordered through ParentPay.

In April Active Schools make the move from EAC Vibrant Communities over to East Ayrshire Leisure Trust.
Most will remain the same but some things will change, one of which is how we promote and sign up for holiday programs starting this Easter.
We will be doing this sign up via the EAL app. New app details below.


These classes are recommended for age 4 plus

P1 & P2 -RUN, JUMP & THROW – After School Club
The after school club will run on the following dates, Monday 3rd, 10th & 17th March.
The club will run from 3 pm to 4pm. Please complete the form if you wish your child to attend.

We offer a free “deliver to school” option that is open for approximately 14 days, alternatively, home delivery is available at a cost of £5 postage and packing.

A free online safety training
In partnership with Police Scotland’s Cybercrime Harm Prevention Team, the Education Service is hosting two virtual events to discuss how you can help keep yourself and your loved ones safe whilst online – there will be a short presentation, followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Your children are welcome to attend.

Your child will bring home their picture that was taken today by Tempest.

Reminder – Rag Bag collection is organised for Tuesday 18th February.
If you have any bags of unwanted clothes, shoes, bags etc, bring them along to the school on Monday 17th or before 9.00am on Tuesday.

This programme takes place over the summer , one morning a week for 3 consecutive weeks for parent and child transitioning to Secondary School.

Massive thank you to St John Scotland for coming along to our Inservice training day on Tuesday 11th February and providing a training session on using the Defibrillator.
Our Defib was fitted in September 2024. The Defib is accessible from 7.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday, and in Term Time only. It is located on the school wall in the staff carpark at the James Taylor Avenue gated entrance.
