Summer Trip Reminder and Information
Our whole school summer trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park will be on Wednesday 25th June.
Thank you to everyone that has handed in their child’s permission form and payment.
Again thank you to the Parent Council making a donation towards the cost of the trip.
Parentpay is open for payments, if you are having problems with Parentpay please contact the school.
As we will be away for the full school day, we need to make plans for how many pupils will require a school meal/packed lunch on this day.
If you haven’t already done so, please complete the link below by Friday 30th May.

P7 Parent/Carer Transition Evening at RBA
Your child will come home today with information about the P7 Transition Evening on 26th May.
We hope you can attend.
Hot Weather and Sunscreen
As the lovely weather continues, we would like to remind everyone of the sun safe message.
Can we ask that you apply sunscreen prior to your child attending school?
Please do not send sunscreen into school.
Your child can wear a sunhat, if they wish, and can bring a bottle of water to have in class.

Summer Trip Lunch Requirements
As our summer trip is on Wednesday 25th June, we will be out of school for the full day, and require to plan for pupils that may require a packed lunch.

Do you have a yoga mat at home that you do not use?
If so, we would be delighted if you would donate them to the school.
Either send your child along with it or hand in to the office.

Holiday Weekend
Just a reminder that it is a school holiday on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th May.
Our doors close at 3.00pm today and reopen on Wednesday 7th May at 9.00am.

Greener Communities Survey
Our Greener Communities team is responsible for a wide range of services such as: bereavement services, public parks and play parks maintenance, open space maintenance, the garden maintenance scheme, clean up campaigns and wildflowers.

Heads of Ayr Farm Park Summer Trip
Our whole school summer trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park will be on Wednesday 25th June.
The cost per child is £7.00. This is a greatly reduced cost thanks to the wonderful Parent Council making a donation of £6.00 per child. As always, the support of our Parent Council is very much appreciated.
Parentpay is now open for payment to be made. Thank you.
Further information about the trip will come out nearer the time.
Primary 7 PE Activities Evening
Primary 7 PE Activities Evening – Wednesday 14th May 2025 – 4pm – 5:30pm
Please find attached P7 Activity Evening information letter which was originally sent out to you all last month.
The Robert Burns Academy PE staff have arranged for external visitors to come in and work alongside them to organise a wide range of activities for the event which should be a really good introduction to the PE Department for both parents/carers and pupils moving into S1 in August.
