Hello Everyone,
What a fantastic last full week P3 have had!
In numeracy we have been concentrating on subtraction to finish off this term. Pupils have been working hard on mental maths challenges and memory games, along with using number lines!
We have been exploring play through lego and building, our pupils in P3 are so creative!
This week was also our christmas party! We had lots of games, prizes and had great fun with some photo props 🙂

Just a reminder that we will be watching the Panto tomorrow in class, I have said it is ok for pupils to bring an extra snack to enjoy while watching it 🙂
Gentle note: nothing with nuts in the snacks please.

Afternoon everyone!
There is no official homework for this week, however I have set a reading challenge for pupils to try and read a bed time story to whoever is at home at least once this week. It doesn’t need to be a long story or a full story – it can be part of a book too!
Reminder that the P3 party is on Thursday this week – please make sure that the clothes our pupils are wearing are weather appropriate as they will be going outside for playtime and lunch time.

Hello Everyone
It is Miss Edmund here, I am so glad to back working with our P3. They have been working really hard this week.
We have had fantastic talks this week, well done to everyone! I know it can be hard to stand up and talk to the class but you all did fantastic and I am super proud of all of you!
We were finding some interesting facts about St. Andrew on 30th of November for St. Andrews day and we also made some fabulous tartan kilts using patterns and a weaving method.
In maths and numeracy we have been working hard on our number talks which has been Compensation, a great strategy for adding!
It is an exciting time of year and this year P3 have been given an advent calander of books! So far we have had 3 lovely books that have been taken home – I hope you enjoy them!
