🌟 Our New House Captains and Vice Captains! 🌟
We are delighted to announce our House Captains and Vice Captains for this school year! ❤️
Our P7 pupils took the responsibility of applying for these important leadership roles very seriously. They prepared some amazing PowerPoint presentations, explaining why they would make good House Captains and sharing their ideas for how they could support their houses and our wider school community.
Nanci-Rose, Callum, Ava, Robin and Jessica all delivered wonderful speeches to their houses. Their presentations were thoughtful, heartfelt and showed just how much they care about St Joseph’s and the pupils they hope to represent. Willow also did a great job preparing for the role but unfortunately missed the presentations on the day.
The voting was incredibly close in some houses!
🔵 St Andrew’s – It was a very close vote, with Jessica just managing to secure the role of House Captain, and Nanci-Rose becoming Vice Captain.
🟢 St Ninian’s – Ava produced a very detailed and convincing presentation, and St Ninian’s pupils voted for her to become their House Captain.
🟡 St Columbus – We even ended up with a tie between Robin and Callum! With nothing separating them in the vote, a name had to be drawn, resulting in Robin becoming House Captain and Callum becoming Vice Captain.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful group of P7 pupils this year. The quality of their presentations showed maturity, confidence and a genuine desire to make a positive contribution to our school. Regardless of the final results, every pupil who put themselves forward should be very proud. 🌟
Our new Captains and Vice Captains will have an important role throughout the year, representing their houses, listening to the views of other pupils, encouraging participation, being positive role models and carrying out the responsibilities detailed in their leadership certificates.
We know Jessica, Nanci-Rose, Ava, Robin, Callum and Willow will be wonderful leaders and will represent their houses and St Joseph’s with pride. ❤️
