🎡 Soundtrap Music Sessions with P5–7 🎧

We were delighted to welcome the Soundtrap team into our P5–7 class for the first of a series of music sessions on Tuesday 20th January and it was a huge hit! 😊

During the session, pupils were introduced to Soundtrap, an online music and audio platform that allows them to create, record, and edit music digitally.

We started by working together as a class to create a shared song. Pupils explored different sounds, beats, and instruments, learning how tracks can be built up layer by layer. There was lots of discussion, experimenting, and listening to each other’s ideas – brilliant teamwork all round 🎢

After that, pupils had the chance to experiment independently, creating their own music and sound clips. It was fantastic to see how confident they became so quickly, trying out different styles and effects and really making the music their own.

One of the best parts is that pupils also have access to Soundtrap at home, so they can continue experimenting, practising, and being creative beyond the classroom if they wish πŸŽΉπŸ’»

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session, and we’re really looking forward to building on these skills when the Soundtrap team return on Tuesday 3rd February.

🎼 Stay tuned for more musical creativity!
