🐣 Easter Fayre Fun at St. Joseph’s! 🐣

Today we held our Easter Fayre, and what a brilliant success it was! Although it was a fairly small event, the turnout was fantastic, and the hall was buzzing with excitement from start to finish.

A huge thank you to our amazing Parent Council for organising and running the event – your hard work and dedication made the day such a success. We’re also incredibly grateful to all the volunteers, families, and staff who gave up their time to help set up, run stalls, bake, tidy up and support the children throughout the day.

Special thanks as well to everyone who donated items for our bottle and chocolate tombola – we know the appeal was a little last-minute, but the response was brilliant. Thank you so much!

There were loads of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, including:

  • A raffle with some great prizes, run by Ms. Hamilton
  • A bottle and chocolate tombola
  • A fun-filled pick the straw game – if you pulled the golden straw, you won a prize!
  • Face painting and nail art by the talented Jenny
  • A special stall by Ry, who showcased his amazing handmade creations – from makeup bags and tumblers to mugs, bracelets, and more! Fantastic range, Ry!
  • Our lovely café, run by Miss Corrigan, offering tea, coffee, and a delicious spread of home baking kindly donated by volunteers and parents

We were also grateful to have support from PCDT volunteers, and a big thank you to Mrs T. Hilferty, who came in to help with Ry’s stall.

The Easter Bonnet Competition winners were also announced during the event:
🏆 P1–4: Bodhi and Ebony
🏆 P5–7: Gregor and Rubie

And we revealed the winners of our Egg Decorating Competition, which ended on Friday:
🥚 P1–4: Noah and Katie
🥚 P5–7: Thorin and Ava W.

Well done to all our winners – and to every pupil who took part with such enthusiasm and creativity.

The best part? We raised an amazing £280, which will go towards purchasing another iPad for the school – fantastic!

Thank you again to our Parent Council, our wonderful volunteers, and our brilliant school community for making the day so special. A lovely way to round off the term and head into the Easter holidays!
