SCIAF Fundraising Fun at St Joseph’s Primary! 🎉

On Friday 21st March, our fantastic pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School took part in a fun-filled fundraising day in aid of SCIAF – the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund. The event was organised entirely by our hardworking Enterprise Group, who planned an exciting range of activities to help raise money for this wonderful cause. 💙

Pupils were invited to come “dressed to impress” – and they certainly did! From dazzling outfits to chill non-uniform and classic school uniform, everyone took part in their own way. ✨ Children who were able brought in a donation, and we had lots of generous supporters on the day, so we’re confident we’ve raised a lovely little sum for SCIAF. We’ll be counting the final total next week – stay tuned!

There were loads of brilliant activities happening across the school:

  • What’s My Flavour? was a hit, with Brooke and Rubie running a crisp tasting challenge that got everyone guessing!
  • The Danceathon had the younger children especially buzzing with excitement – a big well done to Maya and Joanna for keeping the dance floor busy! 🕺💃
  • Guess the Baby was a favourite with staff and pupils alike – thank you to Gregor and Myra for organising this adorable guessing game.
  • Our two Crazy Obstacle Courses were a huge success! The P5–7 course was created by Ry and Ava W, while Robin, Ava G, and Nanci-Rose built a fantastic course just for the P1–4s. Both were enjoyed immensely!
  • Thorin and Kamil led the Board Games Zone, where children could relax and play games like Uno, Pop-Up Pirate, Five Second Rule, and Guess Who? – perfect for a quieter moment of fun. ♟️🎲
  • Ross, Danielle, and Myra were on donation duty in the morning, making sure every contribution was collected with care.

It was a day full of laughter, teamwork, and giving – all for a fantastic cause. Thank you to everyone who supported our SCIAF fundraiser. We’re proud of the kindness and creativity shown by our pupils. Well done, St Joseph’s!
